Obtaining Information


The Office of Recovery Services provides a number of ways for constituents and others to obtain or report information.

Child support Cases

Each ORS region operates a trained Customer Service Unit (CSU) to provide child support case status and answer case specific questions from custodial parents, non-custodial parents, and third parties such as employers when information cannot be obtained via the Automated Information System.

Public Assistance Fraud

On July 1, 2003, the responsibility for investigating public assistance fraud, collecting public assistance overpayments and operating the fraud hotline was transferred to the Department of Workforce Services.
  • Fraud Hotline: Callers may leave anonymous information regarding possible incidents of fraud for public assistance programs 7 days a week, 24 hours per day
